Partial Hospitalization Program

For Adults with Mental Health and or Substance Abuse disorders



PHP is a comprehensive, short-term outpatient program that provides support and treatment for adults facing emotional or mental difficulties, and who may have substance abuse problems. It features coordinated, intensive treatment that is more concentrated than traditional outpatient care. The structured format provides medical monitoring, plus therapeutic groups and activities.



PHP participants return home in the evenings and maintain important links to their family and their community. This allows them to practice new skills that promote confidence and independence.

PHP hours of operation: Monday - Friday  8 am to 12 pm

The goal of PHP is to help participants understand their current problems and improve their coping skills. This is accomplished through a wide range of activities including:

  • Improving support systems

  • Family therapy

  • Planning for life after PHP

  • Assertiveness Training

  • Nutrition habits

  • Psychiatric evaluations

  • Developing good sleep habits

  • Mental Health Education

  • Exercise to feel better
