Project Recovery


If you have been negatively impacted by any of the hurricanes of 2004 you may still be experiencing difficulties dealing with emotions or depression. Maybe you just can't get back on track with daily activities?

Service Eligibility*

  • Individuals displaced from their home

  • Families and Children with continued stress

  • Older persons

  • Migrant families

  • Persons with disabilities

  • Teachers / Caregivers working with children in highly
     impacted areas

You may be eligible for short term services through Project Recovery

  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health counseling

  • Referrals to community based care and support

  • Short-Term intervention strategies

  • Vocational Support

*Service available regardless of nationality or immigration status.

  • Mobile Therapy Teams (Rural)

  • Group / Cognitive Therapy

  • Individual / Cognitive Therapy

  • Substance Abuse Services

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy

  • Children: Anger Management and Play Therapy

  • Educational Programs for parents, children, families, and
    professionals
