Therapy & Mental Health

Outpatient Access Center

Located in the Outpatient Access Center, our Mental Health Services provide the resources to meet your mental health goals. Here you are assessed and linked to appropriate treatments to help you get to a healthier lifestyle.

Adult and Children Outpatient Services

Whether you are looking for individual, family, or group counseling, a psychiatric evaluation or medication management, our various outpatient programs can address mental health and substance-related concerns. Our caring and professional staff will help you meet your goals at our Kissimmee and Poinciana locations.

Case Management

We want to help you get your feet on the ground. Our case managers and care coordinators are trained and certified to connect you to programs within the community with the utmost compassion and understanding. Designed for children and adults who live in Osceola, Orange, or Polk County, some of the services and links include housing, employment, support groups, mental health and medical services, and school advocacy. Your experience with trauma, mental health, substance use, or focus does not define who you are and prevent who you can become.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program

Our Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Program establishes the foundation for improving or maintaining your role in the community. We guide you through the steps needed to help restore your personal highest level of independent living. Classes include Managing Mental Illness, Independent Living Skills, Social Skills, Activities for Daily Living, and Finance and Budgeting. You, along with your peers, will gain the skills to achieve and maintain a better quality of life and minimize intense treatment services because, in PSR, we believe, “Together We Heal.”

Adult Residential Program

Our Adult Residential Program will assist you in developing the skills necessary for independent living within our community. We offer adults with mental illnesses support in a supervised environment.

Primary Care & Wellness

Your mind and body work together to provide you everything you need to live a healthy lifestyle. We have collaborated with Osceola Community Health Services to provide integrated primary health at our Kissimmee location.

We understand the importance of taking care of yourself both mentally and physically, so our treatment teams work together to offer both health and wellness programs to promote your ideal level of wellbeing. Members of the program will receive physician-supervised health services and programs, which include:

  • Primary care
  • Dental services
  • Basic health screenings
  • Wellness coaching
  • Tobacco cessation program
  • Stress management
  • Health management
  • Disease education programs

Recovery-oriented Services

Recovery Oriented Counseling

Our treatment helps you work towards long-term sobriety while maintaining much of your everyday routine. As the least intensive of our services, our Outpatient Services may be the starting point or last part of your journey to recovery. Our quality and individualized care will improve your health and sense of community as part of our continuum of care.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Ideal for individuals transitioning from a higher level of care, our Intensive Outpatient Program is offered three days a week and focuses on helping you develop and maintain your recovery. This program is designed for adults 18 years and older who need more care and support.

Medication Assisted Treatment

Here at Park Place, we have access to the tools needed to meet your goals towards a better lifestyle. Vivitrol is an FDA-approved medication used to treat opioid and alcohol addiction. Administered once a month, the treatment reduces opioid and alcohol cravings, reduces and prevents relapse, and breaks the dependence on opiates and alcohol. Vivitrol is one of today’s most effective recovery tools. Our comprehensive management program is combined with psychosocial support.

Residential

Our drug and alcohol residential treatment program focuses on individualized client care and helps you recover from substance abuse and co-occurring conditions. Our staff will ensure you receive care designed specifically for you and your specific needs. Although intensive, the multidisciplinary approach uses the advantages in all types of clinical care, and you will participate in various types of group, individual and recreational therapies.

Partial Hospitalization Program

As a less intensive program, our Partial Hospitalization Program, or Day Treatment, is for someone who benefits from the structure without 24-hour supervision or medical assistance. Your individualized treatment plan provides services for substance abuse disorders and other co-occurring mental health conditions. This is an ideal setting for you to receive treatment throughout the day while living independently.

Recovery Peer Support Services

Support is important through your recovery process. We have a strong sober support network that offers a safe and comfortable environment to discuss issues, relapses, and successes openly. Your Peer Support Specialist will go above and beyond daily to help you sustain your goals and make sure you are not walking the path to recovery alone.
